International Institute of Gemology participates in IIJS Premier 2019

Its presence at the IIJS Premier 2019 helped raise awareness around the rapidly growing scope and opportunities of this industry among aspiring students and professionals

International Institute of Gemology (IIG) participated in the 36th Edition of India International Jewellery Show (IIJS 2019), India's largest and most awaited jewellery exhibition. The event took place from 8th to 12th August at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.

IIJS hosts seminars and exhibitions on Gems & Jewellery for B2B participants ranging from business visitors, jewellery manufacturers, importers, traders, retailers and students from Gem & Jewellery Institutes in India and overseas. International Institute of Gemology is the gateway for education in the field of Gems & Jewellery in India. Its presence at the IIJS Premier 2019 helped raise awareness around the rapidly growing scope and opportunities of this industry among aspiring students and professionals.

‘IIJS is an important show for the Gems & Jewellery industry. With a staggering footfall of 35,000+ visitors this year, we had the opportunity to engage with professionals who want to pursue their careers within the field and the event provided a great platform to network with potential collaborators for our education programs,’ said Rahul Desai, Managing Director, IIG.

IIG has partnered with De Beers Group Institute of Diamonds to provide the highest quality diamond education in India. Dignitaries from Swarovski Gemstone India, Hari Krishna Exports and Venus Jewels, to name a few, along with our alumni and students who graced the IIG stall with their presence during the 5-day event.
