GJEPC contributes Rs.20 lakh towards UP Govt.'s fight against Covid-19

GJEPC had allocated a fund of Rs.51 crore to fight against Covid-19 and help the disadvantaged workers of the industry.

In their continuous endeavour to support the fight against Covid-19, GJEPC contributed a sum of INR 20 lakhs to the Uttar Pradesh Government, which will be used in the CSR activities by the state government. GJEPC has also donated INR 21 crore to the PM Cares Fund, to support the country’s challenge against the pandemic. GJEPC is helping daily wage workers of the industry by transferring Rs.1,500 in the form of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) directly into their individual bank accounts. 

Shri Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman - North, GJEPC, on behalf of the Council members, met  Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, and contributed Rs. 20 lakh to augment the financial resources of the State Government for the welfare of its people.
