Veteran jeweller Shaankar Sen (Vice Chairman, GJC) of Senco Gold and Diamonds passed away this morning. The industry is in great shock and is bereaving the loss of a man, who contributed greatly to this industry.

He was one of the founding members of GJC and played a big role in making the committee what it is today. He was always enthusiastic and ready to help the industry and impart the knowledge gained by his experiences.

As a publishing house we have such fond memories of him – he was always enthusiastic about sharing his thoughts on various topics or being a part of knowledge seminar. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
