According to reports, Tanzania government is planning to establish a mineral office for the nation's mining regions.%%This decision is followed by the geological studies showing vast amounts of mineral resources available.%%Deputy minister of Energy and Minerals William Ngelejato announced the plans on June 22, 2007 and said that unexplored areas in the southern tier include diamonds, gold, copper, uranium, graphite, and salt. %%Tanzania is located between Kenya and Mozambique, south of the Equator, on the eastern coast of central Africa.
