Mumbai-based luxury label RASA Jewels is rewriting the rules of heirloom jewellery with its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which reimagines age-old Indian techniques—such as Polki, Navratan, Meenakari, Panchchikan, and Temple jewellery—through the elegant medium of silver
Marking a bold new chapter in India’s jewellery narrative, Mumbai-based heritage label RASA Jewels has unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, a tribute to time-honoured traditions expressed through the contemporary lens of silver. Reviving legacy crafts like Polki, Navratan, Meenakari, Panchchikan, and Temple jewellery, the collection repositions silver as the new centrepiece of Indian heirloom luxury.
While gold has long reigned supreme in traditional Indian jewellery, RASA shifts the spotlight onto silver’s luminous restraint, celebrating its elegance, versatility, and emotional resonance. Designed as modern heirlooms, the SS/25 line bridges centuries-old craftsmanship with fresh, relevant forms—intended not just as accessories but as legacy pieces meant to be passed down through generations.
Rooted in regal tradition and influenced by colonial design sensibilities, each piece in the collection is meticulously handcrafted, evoking a sense of history and permanence. The collection draws on India's artisanal past while embracing sustainability, ethical sourcing, and contemporary relevance—hallmarks of the brand’s vision.
“At RASA, we don’t just preserve tradition—we evolve it,” says co-founder Manan Bohra, whose vision for the brand blends cultural heritage with mindful luxury. “Every piece is a tribute to the hands that shape it, the stories it holds, and the generations it will adorn.”
From chunky chain-link chokers and bubble rings to versatile layering pieces, the SS/25 line speaks to a generation seeking jewellery that’s meaningful, multifunctional, and refined. Designs draw inspiration from Bollywood glamour and minimalist fine jewellery, while also exploring gender-fluid forms, stacking styles, and the enduring appeal of mixed metals.
RASA’s ethos of slow luxury is further expressed through its responsible sourcing of gemstones and recycled metals, with each design celebrating artisanship, provenance, and emotional connection. The brand’s price range spans from Rs 2,000 to Rs 1,00,000, making heritage-inspired luxury accessible to a wide audience of conscious consumers and collectors.
