Khimji Jewellers Appoints Rajat Verma as Chief Marketing Officer

Khimji Jewellers has appointed Rajat Verma as Chief Marketing Officer to oversee brand strategy, marketing operations and support retail expansion initiatives as part of the company’s leadership team in India.

Khimji Jewellers has announced the appointment of Rajat Verma as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, Verma will lead the company’s marketing function and be responsible for brand and marketing strategy across its portfolio.

According to the company, Verma will oversee consumer-facing marketing activities as well as broader brand initiatives. His responsibilities will include planning and executing marketing strategies aligned with Khimji Jewellers’ business objectives and growth plans.

As part of the senior leadership team, Verma will also be involved in the company’s retail expansion strategy. He will work alongside internal teams during the launch of new outlets to ensure that marketing initiatives remain consistent with overall business goals.

Verma joins Khimji Jewellers from V2 Retail Ltd., where he was associated with marketing-led growth initiatives across multiple areas of the business. His role at V2 Retail involved developing and implementing marketing strategies aimed at supporting retail scale and customer engagement.

With over 20 years of experience in the retail and consumer sectors, Verma brings expertise in brand development, marketing execution and expansion-focused strategies. His professional background includes working across organised retail formats with a focus on driving brand visibility and market presence.

In his new position, Verma will be responsible for strengthening Khimji Jewellers’ marketing operations while supporting the company’s ongoing and future retail expansion plans across India.
