IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026 Opens Doors to Trade Buyers in Bengaluru

GJEPC inaugurated IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026 on 21 March at BIEC, Bengaluru, with industry leaders and government officials, marking the start of the three-day trade event focused on regional jewellery manufacturing and sourcing.

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) inaugurated IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026 on March 21, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, commencing the fourth edition of its focused B2B jewellery sourcing platform.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Chief Guest Smt. Gunjan Krishna, IAS, Commissioner for Industrial Development and Director of Industries & Commerce, Government of Karnataka. Guests of Honour included Shri A. Prasanna Anguraj, Managing Director, Sree Kumaran Thangamaligai, and Dr. Pratap Madhukar Kamath, Managing Director, Abaran Timeless Jewellery Pvt. Ltd.

Senior GJEPC leadership present at the event included Chairman Kirit Bhansali, Vice Chairman Shaunak Parikh, Regional Chairman (South) Shri Mahendra Kumar Tayal, and Executive Director Sabyasachi Ray. The ceremony also saw participation from Dr. Chetan Kumar Mehta, President, The Jewellers Association Bengaluru (JAB), and Shrikanth Kari, Chairman, Karnataka State Jewellers Federation (KJF).

Positioned as a compact and efficient sourcing show, IIJS Bharat Tritiya continues to cater primarily to regional retailers and manufacturers, offering a curated mix of gold, diamond and gemstone jewellery. The show runs from March 21–23, 2026 and is expected to witness strong participation from South Indian trade buyers ahead of the upcoming festive and wedding buying cycle.

With its timing and format, IIJS Bharat Tritiya aims to support inventory planning and business momentum for mid-season demand within the domestic jewellery market.
