The Organizing Committee of the 41st World Diamond Congress has announced the programme for the upcoming event, scheduled to take place from July 12–15, 2026, in Singapore.

The Congress will feature five discussion forums covering key industry themes. These include African leadership in the diamond pipeline, growth opportunities in the Asian market, geopolitics and trade restrictions, building global natural diamond demand, and generational integration within the industry.

The biennial Congress is organized by the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA). It brings together stakeholders from across the global diamond and jewellery value chain to address industry developments and challenges.

Fabio Cascapera, Chair of the Organizing Committee and DES President, said preparations are underway with less than four months remaining. He noted that the event will convene government representatives, manufacturers, trade leaders, and industry organizations, with participation expected from the ASEAN region.

According to Cascapera, markets such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam present opportunities for industry expansion. The Congress sessions will address Africa’s evolving role in the pipeline, commercial prospects in Asia, and efforts to stimulate consumer demand for natural diamonds. Discussions will also examine the role of the next generation of industry leaders.

The 2026 edition will be held alongside the Singapore International Jewelry Expo (SIJE), enabling interaction between high-level discussions and trade activity, including jewellery, gemstones, and timepieces.

Organizers have opened registrations, with early bird rates available until March 31, 2026. A group registration offer provides a 10% discount for five full-paying delegates.

Additional information, including panel participants, is expected to be released in the coming days.
