VBJ Partners with IGNITION 2026, Showcases PARRO Collection in Chennai

VBJ partnered with IGNITION 2026 at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, on July 3, showcasing its PARRO collection while supporting discussions on geopolitics, culture, cinema and global affairs.

VBJ, Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers partnered with IGNITION 2026, a thought leadership platform presented by the Shiv Nadar Foundation and curated by journalist Shoma Chaudhury. The event was held at ITC Grand Chola in Chennai on July 3 and brought together speakers from diplomacy, cinema and international affairs.

As part of the partnership, VBJ, Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers presented its PARRO – The Signature Parrot Collection. Inspired by the parrot, the collection features jewellery designs based on nature and combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design elements.The event included discussions by Dr. Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, representative of Iran's Supreme Leader, who spoke about developments in West Asia; actor Ali Fazal, who shared his experiences in Indian cinema and Hollywood; and former Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale, who discussed the changing global order and his book China's Wars.

Commenting on the association, Amarendran Vummidi of VBJ said, "IGNITION has established itself as a platform where influential voices come together to spark conversations that shape perspectives. VBJ stated that it is a fifth-generation family-run jewellery business and noted its role in creating the Sengol, which was reinstated beside the Speaker's chair in India's new Parliament building after being rediscovered through research by the company's team. The jeweller also announced plans to open its largest showroom on Coimbatore's 100ft Road.
