P.C. Chandra Jewellers has launched ‘True To Me’, a five-episode podcast series built around conversations with women about identity, personal freedom and the choices shaping their lives. The initiative was developed around Independence Month in August and forms part of the jeweller’s digital brand communication.

Each episode features a different woman and perspective, with the brand choosing participants for their individual journeys rather than celebrity recognition. The conversations are designed to explore different interpretations of personal identity and independence.

Uday Kumar Chandra, Managing Director, P.C. Chandra Jewellers, said the podcast format gave participants space to speak in their own voices, while longer conversations could be adapted into shorter social media content for wider digital distribution.

Jewellery forms part of the visual presentation rather than being the central subject of the episodes. The brand said the pieces were selected to complement the women and their individual personalities, linking jewellery with identity, memories and personal milestones.

The series is primarily being distributed through digital channels, with the company also exploring its integration into the showroom environment. The approach is intended to connect longer-form content with social media engagement and, subsequently, customer interaction at stores.

Founded in 1939, P.C. Chandra Jewellers has expanded to a network of more than 70 showrooms across 10 cities, with its strongest presence in West Bengal.
