To update jewellery manufacturers and retailers on safety rules, the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA) has released a new "Safety Solutions" package. The kit is made of a revised 6-inch by 9-inch sized manual and a DVD.%% The redesigned manual informs on safety guidelines, codes & legislation, and an enhanced resource section. The DVD contains a narration by MJSA Education Foundation Director Teresa Shannon displaying the best practices for bench work and casting, ways to store and use chemicals, and a checklist to ensure operations are as per the safety codes.%%The entire kit is priced at $42.50 for MJSA members and $49.95 for non-members. The manual alone costs $24.95 for members, $28.95 for non-members; and the DVD by itself costs $25.50 for members, $29.95 for non-members.
