John B. Lowe Jr., a member of the Zale Corporation board since 2004, has been appointed as its new chairman, with the exit of former chairman Richard Marcus, who held the said office since 2004. The appointment was announced in a regulatory filing on 1st October. Marcus will continue to act as a director. He had joined the Zale board in 1993 and is the former chairman and CEO of Neiman Marcus.
