River Diamonds is about to host one of its key annual general meetings on 15 August 2008, as the agenda is focused on a proposed name change and election of three new directors. The shareholders will be placing their votes for or against a anme cgange from River diamonds to Vatukoula Gold Mines Plc. This name is already adopted by its fiji operations, which is known now as Vatukoula Gold Mines Limited. %% The other moot voting will be for re-electing director (company chairman) Ian Colin Orr-Ewing and director David Anthony Lenigas; along with the election of three new directors Donald Ian George Layman Strang, Neil Lindsey Herbert and John Ian Stalker. %% River Diamonds operates in Sierra Leone, Brazil, and Fiji.
