Antwerp is setting up a huge representation at the forthcoming September Hong Kong Jewellery and Watch Fair, with 73 companies to visit it. The Antwerp booth will be housed in Antwerp Diamond Pavilions located at two different settings, the HKCEC in the Expo Drive Hall and the AsiaWorldExpo. The participation from Antwerp is an important landmark for the show, as the HRD Awards 2009 will be presented simultaneously along with the opening ceremony of the show. The awards which were themed this year as ‘Once upon a time… my favourite fairy tale’, are for the biennial diamond jewellery competition hosted by Antwerp World Diamond Centre. It will be executed by to prima ballerinas and a star dancer from the famous Ballet of Flanders dance company. %% HRD is inviting professional and non-professional designers, to send in original designs which have not previously been put on display or commercialised.
