CIBJO's new Precious Metals book will be shared with the industry, during an educational seminar at the upcoming International Jewellery London (IJL) show. The presenter of the book, Michael Allchin, President of CIBJO's Precious Metals Commission and CEO and Assay Master of the Birmingham Assay Office, will deliver a presentation "Setting Global Standards - CIBJO and the Blue Books." %% Through this book, CIBJO intends to set international standards of Corporate Social Responsibility, to encourage harmonisation & international cooperation, and to protect consumers and their confidence in the jewellery industry. "During my presentation, I will explain CIBJO's mission and explore the benefits and opportunities of the CIBJO Blue Books for the International Jewellery Industry in general and in particular will discuss the new Precious Metals standards that CIBJO advocates," Allchin said.
