Forevermark taps into Gujarat market

Forevermark ties up with various Ahmedabad jewellers and one of the Baroda jewellers to spread its reach in Gujarat market.

The New York Important Jewels sale by Sotheby’s churned $5.1 million, selling 63.6 percent by lot and 67.6 percent by value. The auction indicated renewed interest in white diamonds, indicated by the fact that three of the top four white diamonds were bought by American dealers. %% Of the lots that sold, 45 percent were bought for values above the high end of their estimates. %% A 20.35-carat diamond ring was the top lot bought for $230,500 (in the range of its estimated presale rate). The second top lot was a 18.70-carat diamond ring bought for $164,500 ( its estimated presale price was $150,000), followed by an 8.18-carat, G color, S/1 clarity marquis diamond ring sold for $116,500 within its presale estimate.
