Jewellery design company Henry Dunay Designs Inc. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and has submitted a voluntary petition form at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York, Manhattan. At present the company has around 100 to 199 creditors, it stated in the form, as also an asset value of $1 million to $10 million and total liabilities between $1 million and $10 million. %% The filing of bankruptcy protection stands out within the successful tenure of designing and retailing jewellery since its launch in 1965. The company has won over 50 awards, was named as the "World's Best Jewelry Designer" in 2000 and 2001 by Robb Report magazine, and has a list of elite clientele like Tom Cruise, Oprah Winfrey and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
