GIJS – 2013 offered diversity

The jewellers showcased Gujarat's expertise in Kundan, Diamond and Gold jewellery.

On 28 October, Christie's Dubai will host an auction of contemporary and antique luxury items including jewellery, precious stones, diamonds and watches, at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel. Of the lots in the auction, there would be 137 jewellery items carrying an estimated auction price of $2,000 to $600,000 and estimated profit turnout of up to $6.8 million, reports say. %% Jewellery pieces to be auction include a pair of Asscher-cut diamond ear pendants carrying an estimated sale price of $500,000, jewellery from the stables of Harry Winston, America's Cup, Aston Martin and Maserati, antique Indian jewellery such as a diamond, pearl and ruby necklace embedded with taviz-cut and briolette–cut diamond beads of the 17th century.
