FIRST consignment of Alrosa is expected to reach Israel in the next few days, according to reports. The shipment will include stones from 3 grainers to 3 carats, and is valued at between $3 and $4 million. The rough stones would be sold to existing clients, but that other interested companies were invited to contact the Israeli representative office.%%“We invested three years of hard work in making this happen,” said Moti Ganz, the chairman of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association (IsDMA). “We are pleased that on January 24 Alrosa will hold its first sale of rough diamonds in Israel.”
