Emirates Post, the official postal service of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), issued a set of platinum, gold and silver stamps as a tribute to the nation’s vice-president and prime minister and the ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accoding to reports.%%The stamps, issued on the occasion of the 35th National Day, will be available in denominations of Dhs. 750 ($204) for platinum, Dhs. 350 ($95) for gold and Dhs. 150 ($40) for silver. They have been designed as collectors’ items and cannot be used for postage. It is also the first time that Emirates Post has issued stamps in precious metal.
