The fourth India Rough Gemstones Sourcing Show, organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), was inaugurated on 8th November in Jaipur by Alok Sharma, Additional Commissioner of Customs.

The show is aimed at strengthening the supply of rough gemstones to Indian exporters as international travel restrictions have made it difficult for trade members to visit mining countries.

Three companies, one each from Mozambique, the UK and Zambia, are displaying their ruby and emerald rough gemstones in the ongoing exhibition.
