Mumbai-based jewellery brand Oropel has introduced a new collection titled ‘Noor’, drawing inspiration from the rhythms of music and elements of nature. Founded by designer Neeti Patwa, Oropel focuses on hand-crafted jewellery that merges traditional Indian techniques with contemporary aesthetics. The Noor collection reflects this approach through its use of classic materials presented in modern forms.

A notable feature of the collection is its emphasis on versatility. Several necklaces in the range include three detachable, hand-embroidered straps, allowing for multiple styling options. The collection also includes chokers, earrings, bracelets, and layered necklaces. Many of the pieces pair uncut diamonds with coloured gemstones in bold settings.

According to Patwa, the collection was developed to reflect a balance between personal expression and timeless design, offering jewellery that can be worn across different settings.

The launch of Noor continues a broader trend in India’s fine jewellery space, where brands are experimenting with lab-grown materials and hybrid styles that cater to evolving consumer preferences, particularly in urban markets.
