In a milestone moment for Indian luxury, Zoya, the fine jewellery atelier from the Tata Group, has launched a limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with acclaimed British designer and curator Alice Cicolini
This marks the first international creative partnership for an Indian luxury jewellery house, a move that brings global attention to Indian artistry and craft traditions.
The 19-piece capsule is a lyrical tribute to enamel—one of India's most intricate and poetic jewellery art forms—and draws inspiration from the architecture and layered mystique of Lhasa. Featuring balis, jhumkis, sculptural rings, and bangles, the collection reinterprets traditional Indian silhouettes through a refined, architectural lens.
Central to this collaboration is the fusion of Zoya’s design-led storytelling with Cicolini’s expertise in enamel and cultural symbolism. Known for her narrative-rich pieces that blend Silk Route motifs and sacred architecture, Cicolini brings to the partnership a legacy of working with master artisans in Jaipur to preserve endangered meenakari techniques.
“This collection was born out of a shared reverence for heritage and an instinct for innovation,” said Alice Cicolini. “When Zoya approached me with the idea of celebrating enamel and uncut diamonds, I felt an immediate connection to their design philosophy—one that places craft and meaning above convention.”
Delicate cherry blossoms, chevron patterns, and a feminine palette of sage green, rose, and dew define the visual language of the collection, set in satin-finished 18k gold and adorned with uncut diamonds. The jewellery evokes the journey of Alexandra David-Néel, the first Western woman to enter Lhasa, whose spirit of exploration and inward transformation mirrors that of the Zoya woman.
Revathi Kant, Chief Design Officer, Titan Company, noted: “This collaboration is the culmination of five years of immersive work in enamel by Zoya. Alice shares our devotion to design that’s thoughtful, meaningful, and fiercely individualistic. Together, we’ve created a capsule that breaks boundaries in Indian luxury jewellery.”
The Zoya x Alice Cicolini collection is available by private appointment at select Zoya boutiques.
