Kumari Fine Jewellery entered franchise sports on February 6, 2026 with Kumari Jets at ASTCL in Mumbai, aiming to engage younger urban consumers through cricket, entertainment visibility and OTT broadcast.
Kumari Fine Jewellery has entered franchise sports with the launch of ‘Kumari Jets’ at the All Stars Tennis Ball Cricket League (ASTCL). The announcement was made in Mumbai on 6 February 2026.
The league will take place from February 9 to 14, 2026 at Wings Sports Center, Mumbai. It will feature participants from the film and OTT industry, including Surya Sharma, Bakhtiyar Irani, Arjun Bijlani and Karan Wahi.
The tournament will be streamed live on the league’s official OTT platforms. Sony Sports 5 has been announced as the proposed broadcast partner. Kumari Jets will compete alongside nine other teams in a league-cum-knockout format across 23 matches, concluding with a final on Valentine’s Day.
Supriya Kataria of Kumari Fine Jewellery said, “This partnership with Kumari Jets allows us to connect with customers where culture and everyday conversations unfold. We're reaching households and emerging markets authentically. Most importantly, it is an effort to position Kumari beyond gendered or occasion-led perceptions as contemporary fine jewellery for modern lifestyles as something people choose for themselves, not just for weddings or festivals.”
Vikas Kataria of Kumari Jets said, “Cricket and entertainment have always shared a natural synergy, which is exactly what drew us to this league.”
Bunty Walia of ASTCL outlined the league’s focus on combining sport and entertainment in a compact format. Kumari Jets will be supported through on-ground presence, digital content and fan engagement initiatives during the tournament.
