VBJ, Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers has relaunched its dedicated silver showroom, Vummidi Silverware, on Anna Salai, Chennai. Opened on July 14, 2026, the new showroom is located adjacent to the brand's existing silver showroom and consolidates an expanded range of silver jewellery and silverware in a larger retail space.

Spanning 8,000 sq. ft., the showroom houses hundreds of designs across silver jewellery and silverware. The assortment includes daily wear jewellery, handcrafted pooja articles, home décor, dining collections, collectibles and bespoke creations, along with products positioned for festive gifting. According to the company, the expanded showroom reflects VBJ's long-standing association with silver, which marked the beginning of its business over a century ago. The larger format is intended to offer customers greater product choice while bringing multiple silver categories under one roof.

Speaking on the launch, Jithendra Vummidi of VBJ said, "Silver is where our story began, and this new showroom is a tribute to those beginnings. While we have continuously evolved over the decades, our commitment to preserving the artistry and relevance of silver has remained unchanged. VBJ also stated that it is preparing to open its largest jewellery showroom on Coimbatore's 100 ft. Road as part of its retail expansion plans.
