The ‘She Is Gold, Her Dreams Are Gold’ campaign shifts the brand narrative from gold as a product or investment to its emotional connection with women and their aspirations.
Kavitha Gold & Diamonds has launched a new brand film, ‘She Is Gold, Her Dreams Are Gold’, featuring brand ambassador Fahadh Faasil, as the Kerala-based jeweller shifts its communication towards a more emotional and consumer-centric positioning.
The campaign moves beyond gold’s traditional associations with investment, gifting, tradition and craftsmanship to focus on the aspirations and dreams of the women who wear it. Set against a South Indian wedding backdrop, the film places the bride and her aspirations at the centre of the narrative.
The campaign follows the brand’s earlier positioning, ‘The Versatile Jeweller’, and marks a new phase in its communication strategy. According to Tinson Tomy, Brand Marketing Manager, Kavitha Gold & Diamonds, the campaign evolved from the question of what makes gold special and the role it plays in the lives of brides-to-be, who form a significant part of the brand’s core audience.
“The most important thing about gold is how it reflects the dreams and wishes of the person who is going to wear it,” Tomy said.
Faasil, who has been associated with Kavitha Gold & Diamonds for three years, was involved from the ideation stage of the campaign. The actor’s role is positioned around the bride rather than overshadowing her, reinforcing the campaign’s central message that her dreams take centre stage on her wedding day.
The brand said its association with Faasil has helped strengthen its acceptance across South India and the Middle East. The new campaign is also aimed at deepening Kavitha Gold & Diamonds’ connection with its core Kerala market by communicating a stronger understanding of customers and their aspirations.
Kavitha Gold & Diamonds currently operates showrooms across South India and the UAE. The retailer recently expanded its Kerala presence with the opening of its 14th showroom in Thalassery on August 22, 2026.
