Mumbai: Gemfields has collaborated with Indian high jewellery brand Shruti Sushma on a new collection featuring responsibly sourced coloured gemstones. The partnership brings Gemfields’ Zambian emeralds into Shruti Sushma’s contemporary designs, combining coloured gemstones with diamonds and 18K gold.
Founded by mother-daughter duo Sushma and Shruti Chhajer, Shruti Sushma creates contemporary high jewellery centred on coloured gemstones, including rubies, emeralds, sapphires, spinel, tourmaline and amethyst, alongside old European and rose-cut diamonds.
The latest collaboration includes the Amore Emerald and Tanzanite Earrings, crafted in 18K gold with Gemfields Zambian emeralds, tanzanite and diamonds. The collection also features the Balance Emerald Necklace, comprising one Gemfields Zambian emerald weighing 4.12 cts and white diamonds totalling 9.41 cts.
The Emerald and Diamond Double Hoops feature Gemfields Zambian emeralds weighing 8.9 cts and diamonds totalling 0.63 cts, set in 18K gold.
