Kalyan Jewellers reported over 26% growth in consolidated revenue in Q2 FY2027, supported by 20% same-store sales growth in India and continued showroom expansion.
Kalyan Jewellers reported consolidated revenue growth of more than 26% year-on-year in Q2 FY2027. Revenue from its India operations grew around 27%, with same-store sales growth of approximately 20%.
The company said the growth came despite a high base in the previous year, when all nine days of Navratri fell in the second quarter.
Kalyan also expanded its regional retail strategy with the launch of Akshaya Thanga Maligai (ATM) in Chennai in August. The company plans to open four more ATM stores through the franchise model during FY2027.
International operations grew approximately 18%, while the Middle East business recorded 12% growth, driven by same-store sales. International markets contributed around 11% of consolidated revenue.
Lifestyle jewellery brand Candere recorded strong growth of approximately 64% during the quarter.
During Q2, Kalyan added 12 showrooms in India, including a net addition of 11, nine Candere stores and one Kalyan showroom in the UK.
The company also sold one non-core property for approximately Rs 86 crore and expects to sell another property valued at Rs 16 crore during the current quarter. Non-GML debt stood at zero at the end of Q2.
As of September 30, Kalyan had 546 showrooms across India and international markets. The company said it is prepared for the upcoming festive and wedding season with new collections, campaigns and showroom launches.
