A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between HRD Antwerp and Jasani Department of Jewellery Design and Manufacture, S.N.D.T. Women's University in India, a pioneer in jewellery design in Asia. The agreement will fructify with a Diamond Grading course and a Basic Gemmology course being conducted in India. It was signed with Madhu Madan – registrar, S.N.D.T. Women’s University. %% The courses will be conducted in India by HRD Antwerp and will be an integral part of the curriculum of B.Sc offered by the Jasani Department of Jewellery Design & Manufacture. Upon completion, students of the Jasani Dept. of Jewellery will receive a joint diploma issued by S.N.D.T. and HRD Antwerp, certifying their diamond grading skills as qualified ‘diamond grader’ and their basic gemmology knowledge.
