Going innovative with gold, the jewellery and watch brand of the Tata group – Titan plans to gold plate the Nano car, the small wonder car from Tata. Titan owns the Goldplus chain of jewellery which caters to rural and tier II markets. Its initiative to gold plate follows celebrations of 5,000 years of Indian jewellery. %% Titan intended to design the car with traditional jewellery designs for which it invited designers to present concepts. Three shortlisted designs would be revealed to the public to vote for the best design. Titan would display the gold clad car across the country and allow a chance to ride.
