The Regional Office (Delhi) of the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) recently welcomed and familiarized a delegation led by Mr Godfrey Oliphant, Deputy Minister, Mineral Resource, Republic of South Africa, with the workings of the Indian gem and jewellery industry in this interaction. The members of the delegation praised the Council’s initiatives to boost the Indian G&J indysrry at the national and international level. %% The delegation was welcomed by Shri Anil Sankhwal, Regional Chairman, Shri Rahul Gupta, Regional Committee Member and Shri K.K.Duggal on behalf of the GJEPC. %% Further, the delegation also visited the Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery (IIGJ), witnessing jewellery design taught at the institute and appreciating the students’ design capabilities.
