Gem certification & Assurance Lab (GCAL) have come up with the Gemfacts digital certificate. It contains all the certification information on the GCAL Five Star and Source Veritas diamond grading certificates. The digital certificate comes in the form of an mini-CD.%%To examine the certification on a Gemfacts, one needs to insert the mini-CD into the CD tray of the any PC and the program on the mini-CD automatically executes to reproduce on the PC screen the full graphics of GCAL certificate.%%The Gemfacts mini-CD also provides an on-screen educational feature. Upon moving the mouse cursor over any one of the 19 key-word terms on the certificate (such as “Clarity” or “Color” or “Optical Brilliance Analysis”) the computer responds with a pop-up window of information that briefly explains that term.
