Tanishq, the jewellery brand from Titan Company Limited and part of the Tata Group, has announced a collaboration with Gemological Science International (GSI) to enhance gemological knowledge across its retail and corporate teams in India
As part of the initiative, GSI will conduct specialized training sessions focused on diamonds, coloured gemstones, and jewellery craftsmanship. The programme is designed to equip Tanishq’s frontline and corporate teams with deeper gemological insights, aligning product knowledge with the brand’s design philosophy to elevate customer conversations and instill greater confidence during the buying process.
The partnership reflects Tanishq’s broader strategy of creating more informed and personalised experiences for its customers, recognising that jewellery is often tied to personal milestones. By blending technical knowledge with storytelling and design intent, the brand aims to further enrich its customer engagement at every touchpoint.
Ramit Kapur, Managing Director of GSI, stated that the collaboration is geared towards increasing transparency in the retail space by empowering Tanishq’s sales professionals with the tools and training needed to foster trust.
The training rollout is expected to support Tanishq’s ongoing mission to deliver a jewellery buying experience that is not only luxurious and meaningful, but also grounded in education and authenticity.
