KISNA Diamond and Gold Jewellery, part of the Hari Krishna Group, concluded the 10th edition of the KISNA Diamond Marathon with a simultaneous run held across 57 cities in India. The initiative has been registered as a Guinness World Record attempt for “Most cities to coordinate the same 5 km race simultaneously.”

The marathon marked the first instance of a jewellery brand in India organizing a synchronised sporting event on a national scale. The event was conducted under the theme ‘Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat’ and aimed to promote fitness, cleanliness, and civic responsibility.

According to the organizers, the marathon received more than 20,000 registrations across participating cities. Race categories included 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km, with coordinated start times implemented nationwide to ensure uniform execution.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Ujjwal Nikam, Member of Parliament; Kirit Bhansali, GJEPC; Motilal Oswal, Motilal Oswal Group; Rajeev Jalota, Port Authority; actor Manoj Joshi; and senior representatives from the gems and jewellery industry.

Proceeds from the marathon were allocated to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Commenting on the initiative, Ghanshyam Dholakia of Hari Krishna Group, said, “By attempting this marathon across 57 cities, we are aiming to break an international benchmark and showcase India’s collective spirit on a global platform. I sincerely thank every participant who joined us early this morning and contributed to the success of this nationwide initiative.”

He added that funds raised would support the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, aligning with the vision of “Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat.”
