Beau: Jewels marked World Diamond Day on April 8, 2026, in Mumbai with an immersive event featuring diamond education, styling sessions and interactive activities to promote transparency and informed purchasing.
Beau: Jewels commemorated World Diamond Day on April 8, 2026, in Mumbai by hosting a one-day experiential event for its customers, focusing on diamond education and consumer awareness.
The event was designed to provide attendees with a structured understanding of diamonds, including guidance on reading diamond certificates and evaluating key quality parameters. The initiative aligned with broader industry efforts to promote transparency and informed buying decisions.
A key session, titled “The Diamond Talk,” was conducted by gem and jewellery expert Navin Sadarangani, founder of NYUZ. He explained the 4Cs — cut, clarity, colour and carat — and their role in certification, pricing and valuation. He also introduced the concept of a “5th C,” confidence, in the context of consumer decision-making.
The event also included “The Diamond Trials,” where television actress and lifestyle coach Alefia Kapadia conducted personalized styling consultations. Attendees received guidance on grooming, skin undertones and jewellery selection, along with trial experiences of different designs.
An interactive segment, “The Diamond Dig,” engaged participants through a sand-pit activity aimed at explaining diamond formation, rarity and symbolism.
According to the company, the event aimed to support industry initiatives promoting natural diamonds through education, transparency and consumer engagement.
