Jewellery industry mentor, coach and business strategist Rahul Desai has announced the fourth season of his podcast, Loupe Insight. Titled The New Code of Luxury Jewellery, the season focuses on ideas, experiences and strategies shaping luxury jewellery retail.

The season addresses distinctions between premium, luxury and ultra-premium, and examines how those distinctions affect store design, merchandise selection, pricing, communication and customer engagement.

“Luxury is becoming a game changer for jewellery businesses, but the word itself is often misunderstood. A larger store, a more expensive collection or better hospitality does not automatically create a luxury brand. Episodes examine changing customer expectations, personalization, exclusivity and the role of experience in creating perceived value. The content challenges the view that luxury depends only on elaborate interiors, chandeliers or champagne. It instead considers the customer journey, including how clients are welcomed, how jewellery is introduced, how value is communicated and how relationships continue after purchase.

Designed as short, focused episodes, Loupe Insight is intended for business owners, retailers, manufacturers, designers, sales professionals and students. Desai draws on more than 25 years of experience in jewellery education, retail strategy and industry mentoring.
