QWEEN has outlined the roles of Rosy Blue and Japanese jewellery house Kashikey in its product development, with the two companies serving as the brand’s strategic supply-chain and craftsmanship partners respectively.

Rosy Blue is QWEEN’s single strategic supply-chain partner, providing access to natural diamonds and supporting the brand’s Mine to Marvel initiative, which enables consumers to trace selected diamonds to their mine of origin. The brand said only 0.03% of diamonds entering its selection process meet its standards. Its diamonds are 100% natural and cut to the Hearts & Arrows standard.

Kashikey, founded in 1928, brings its Japanese jewellery-making expertise to QWEEN’s construction, setting and finishing processes. The brand said each QWEEN jewel passes through 131 pairs of hands, covering planning, cutting, polishing, setting and quality checks.

The craftsmanship includes QWEEN’s four-prong setting, which is designed to leave more of the diamond visible while securing the stone.

QWEEN Co-founder and CEO Amit Kumar said the partnerships were intended to incorporate traceability, diamond selection and craftsmanship standards directly into the product.
