Kalyan Jewellers’ annual Navaratri celebration at the Kalyanaraman residence in Thrissur brought together film personalities from Bollywood and South Indian cinema for an evening centred on tradition and mythology.
Kalyan Jewellers hosted its annual Navaratri celebration at the Kalyanaraman family residence in Thrissur on September 17, 2026, bringing together prominent personalities from Bollywood and South Indian cinema.
This year’s celebration centred on the divine journey of Lord Vishnu, depicting Lord Krishna’s childhood, his role in the Mahabharata and his delivery of the Bhagavad Gita’s teachings to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. The presentation culminated in a depiction of Krishna’s Vishwaroopam.
A key feature of the event was the traditional Bommai Kolu, a multi-tiered display of dolls and figurines depicting mythological narratives, everyday life and the goddesses Saraswati, Parvati and Lakshmi. The display reflected the cultural and devotional significance of the Navaratri tradition.
The gathering was attended by film personalities including Saif Ali Khan, Malaika Arora, Sara Ali Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Nagarjuna, Sreeleela, Prabhu Ganesan, Shivakarthikeyan, Kalidas Jayaram and Priyadarshan, among others.
The annual celebration brought together cinema, culture and spirituality, continuing the Kalyanaraman family’s Navaratri tradition.
