De Beers workers will see a 12 percent hike in their wages, as announced by the company, according to South Africa's National Union of Mineworkers (NUM). Earlier, the increase was defined at 10.4 percent, but the NUM demanded a 15 percent hike. The two came to a mutual understanding at 12 percent.
